How to Keep Valuable Vaccines Safe at Ultralow Temperatures

Liebherr April 2021 1800x900

How do you safely store long-term valuables and sensitive substances like DNS, proteins, or vaccines?

Proper storage temperatures are critical for long research projects and to transport valuable, sensitive substances. Temperature is one of the most important purchase criteria when selecting an ultralow temperature (ULT) freezer. Some vaccines require temperatures between -40°C to -60°C, other materials require these temperatures for testing, and certain reagents require these temperatures for mid-term storage. -60°C to -86°C temperatures are required for long-term storage of biological products such as chemical reagents, vaccines, and bacteria.
