TruSpectral Detectors employ patented volume phase hologram (VPH) technology with higher transmission efficiency compared to traditional reflection-type gratings. Especially when combined with the high quantum efficiency and low noise of Peltier-cooled gallium arsenide phosphide (GaAsP) photomultiplier tubes (PMT), this system allows users to capture high signal-to-noise images, even from faint fluorescence.
